Question on higher capacity batteries for S3

Is there an option to purchase a battery with more capacity for S3 without having to change the back cover or add a 2nd external device. I would like to keep my existing cell phone cover and docking station.

I see other battery options but can't tell if that requires physical changes to the phone.

Please advise. Thanks.
