Question: Easy TetherPDA -- Anyone get carried away with data?

...and then go past the 5 gig limit? I think I just did that on accident with 20 days left before my month starts over... suggestions? penalties fees? experiences?

I generally use tethering only for a quick internet surf but I had to install some windows updates, etc... as I just rebuilt a computer. Oops.

There is no 5GB limit. You have unlimited data on your droid. You should be fine.

After searching thru other posts I came to this conclusion. Thank you for confirming because I wasn't quite sure.

Tethering is a privilege. I will not abuse!

Does anyone have any suggestions, do's or dont's on tethering???

I am not going to use it for something like gaming! Just anything that a normal user might do that might create a red flag?

Streaming a bunch of flash videos might be a flag since the droid can't do flash.

How would Verizon be able to even prove anything? based on your comment--if that wasn't a joke--I suppose they see what kind of data you are downloading. Most of mine were simply file downloads which you can do from the web on the phone even w/o tethering. Just would take a lot longer!
