i have some apps with sensitive info stored on my phone. i was wondering if verizon or android has the capability of allowing you to remote nuke your phone in the event you loose it....?
or if there's an app that can allow me to do this from a browser.
Wavesecure definitely can, It's in beta now, and if you DL by 1-31 you get free lifetime access, after that it's a couple bucks/euros a month subscription. It's in the market or you can DL it from wavesecure.com.
Mobile Defense is a great program. It DL's easily and then is hidden on your phone (no icon to alert someone who has found/stolen you device). You can go to mobiledefense.com and log in to disable the phone and track it via cell tower or GPS. The program just keeps getting better IMO.
