Question about hotspot

Now that I have froyo, I was wondering if the mobil hotspot option on my Samsung fascinate will work without Verizon porking me with the $30.00. I have the Debloated version of 2.2, and was alson wondering if geting a beter version or flavor like super clean would make a difference. I would alson like it if someone could explain the difference between the super clean and the debloaded and the 2.8.

You gotta use a hack to get it for free. It works... on 2.1 you use qpst to adjust the tether settings, then when upgrading to froyo the hack stays. Its a little different to setup the hack if your already on froyo, search the forum a little, i saw the instructions here a while ago.
