I want free mobile hotspot on my official 2.2 incredible! how?

hey guys, just wondering if there is a.way to get free mobile hotspot using my official FROYO 2.2 incredible. I am not sure if there is a way to root the new 2.2 FROYO incredible, or of there is another, easier way to get free mobile WiFi. thanks in advance for your help guys
