Question about Fascinate + Handcent SMS

I have the option checked to show the pop-up text over the lock screen, and this worked just fine on the Droid 1 I had before, but on the Fascinate it makes me unlock the phone (whether I'm set to the puzzle-piece unlock or the pattern unlock) to view a popup message. Very annoying, is there a fix for this? Or is it likely something Handcent developers have to handle?

Mine works just fine. The pop up comes up over the unlock screen just fine. I don't have to unlock my phone to see the pop up messages. Make sure the Privacy Mode is not checked in the Popup Settings of Handcent.
