Qualcomm Teases CES Snapdragon 835 Announcement.

We have already been informed that the Snapdragon 835 is coming. So far Qualcomm has not given us very much information on the new Chipset other than it is made with the 10nm FinFET process. This means the chip is smaller overall. This means handsets could potentially get thinner than ever before. The processors will of course be both more powerful and more energy efficient. Other than this not much is known about the 835.

Today Qualcomm tweeted that the Snapdragon 835 processor will come into focus at CES. This means you will want to be sure to pay attention to their announcement. We will find out the specs of the processor and more than likely we will find out a few of the first devices to feature the new chipset.

I don't know how devices will keep getting thinner and thinner when batteries are still required. Plus, how small can the microprocessor be, compared to earlier versions of the same chip?

I am looking forward to understanding what new coolness this new chipset brings to the market.
