Pulling my hair out!

I own a Motorola XPRT. A few months ago, I had my phone rooted. Did it myself with SuperOneClick, and used apps that need a rooting.

A couple of days ago, somehow my system upgraded itself to 2.3.5 and now almost everything is screwed up; 80% of apps barely work without the task manager asking me to "force close" or "wait". Even my root. Especially my hotspot option(which I need a for my PC). Everytime I turn on my hotspot on my wifi or tethering option, it completely turns off my 3G. It even does so with downloaded hotspot/tethering apps.

I'm very close to throttling my phone into a wall. Someone please help!

I would do a factory data reset and root your phone again, then set all your APPS back up. All your APPS will be saved in the Play Store you can get something like SMS backup if you want to save text messages.

Your contacts can be saved to Google if you have an account, it has become a pretty painless process now.
