program to organize home screen

Hi people I was wondering if there was a program to organize the home screen of the phone, with so many programs installed is hard to find a program, something that can group the shortcuts of the programs, similar to the start button of any linux os

Thanks for the reply

I use Folder Organizer Lite. Previously I used App Organizer. Both allow you to organize your icons into folders/groups.

These were developed by the same person.

You will be pleased with either of these.

I've been using Sweeter Home and absolutely love it. The cautions I would give are that it is still in beta (it's stable, but odd things happen sometimes), and it's extremely deep (depending on where you're coming from, that will either mean incredibly flexible or incredibly complex).

That said, you can do an amazing number of things to customize and arrange your phone however you like, and no root or ROMs are needed.

I have nothing but good things to say about Apps Organizer. I used it for about 6 weeks. It was easy to set up and organize my apps. It worked perfectly for me on both the Droid Homescreen and Helix under both 2.01 and 2.1.

I switched to Folder Organizer Lite so that I could add bookmarks and contacts to my folders. I imported my setup from Apps Organizer to Folder Organizer, so the switch was relatively painless.

The only thing I really needed to do was to re-establish the "custom" icons I was using in Apps Organizer for use in Folder Organizer. Lastly, I deleted the Apps Organizer Icons from my desktop (using Helix), then add the Folder Organizer Icons.
