Guys I am new to your forum please help.... I went to the boot screen and vol up / vol down and power got to the recovery the got to droid man and somehow I got to the last screen where you wipe partition I hit the power button and it just rebooted never went to wipeing format 5 times same thing. What am I doing wrong??

Correct, use the volume down to highlight the volume up to select.

When I get to the driod screen it says no command what do I need to do to get to the wipe cache screen I got there but don't remember how I got there. Thanks guy you're great..

So I had to actually do wipe the cache partition in order to remember the steps and as it turns out you use the power button to select, here are the steps.
1.Turn your phone off.
2. Hold down both volume buttons. and the power button until the menu for Recovery comes up.
3. Use the volume down to highlight recover.
4. Use the volume up button to select.
5. When the Android guy comes up press both volume buttons and release.
6. Use the volume down to select wipe cache partition.
7. Use the power button to select.
8. Once the wipe is complete use the power button the select reboot.
Sorry for the confusion before.
