Possible Bricked Droid

I recently attempted to root my D1 using MC1's write up (http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-labs/74028-root-droid-1-regardless-os-version.html) and thought I was all good then ..I have a dead battery for now so I think that's why am experiencing a constant reboot. I also have an error message that reads
" Sorry!
Process system is not responding" then the option of force close or wait.

I think it may be the dead battery issue (which I am currently charging) that may be causing the contant reboot. Once I have a full battery, I hope the rebooting stops. If not, I will need your experties. So far I think I may be good cuz I did see the "SuperPermissions" Icon on the main screen. ..I placed a charged battery in the phone and now once it boots up, I get a partial notificationstating "Android system then device shuts down..HELP PLEASE:icon_eek::icon_eek::icon_eek::icon_eek::icon_eek:

If your phone has a good charge and is still acting up, try a factory reset. That will not get rid of your root.

I think I did that and same result but I'll try it again. I only have the option of Sp recovery it seems to do a factory reset. I have a 100% charged battery and when phone first boots up, battery shows up as red then it shuts down after a few seconds. I went into SpR again again and wiped factory 3 times and cahe 3 times and Still get the same issue. I think somewhere in the rooting, something went wrong. Whenever phone boots up, the red Led light remains on w/the android system reading and phone powers down. Does SD card have to be in phone in order for a complete reboot to occur? Am glad this was a replacement droid that I was going to activate due to a couple of blemishes on my main Droid. It originally had 2.2 OS on it as well so I do not know if that makes a difference as well:icon_eek::icon_eek:

the same thing happened to me. i followed the instructions to root my droid regardless of os, and it seemed to go well until i booted it up completely and the red droid eye came on then it told me i have a low battery. boot loader wont work. and now it wont even turn on. only the little light at the charging port works.
