"pop up" notifications

So I use handcent for my SMS/MMS needs and I love the pop-up/screen-on notifications it has. Is there any app that offers this sort of functionality for Gmail?

I think GO Notifications does, but you have to run GO Launcher, too, but it's a great launcher!

I don't think GO Launcher EX Notifications supports the latest version of Gmail. They claim that on their app at least. But I love the notifications app especially for my Facebook.

I think it's gmail. I couldn't get it to work on Go launcher and it quit working on LauncherPro after the last gmail update.
