I was having a problem with my favorites not holding their default action. I took the phone to the Verizon store. The person helping me had not seen this problem before, so quickly decided to just give me a replacement phone (refurb.) I didn't think that sounded like the correct fix, but whatever, I went along with it.
The refurb seems to have problems playing podcasts. It'll go into a "skip" mode and hurry through the mp3 file. I've had this happen on separate podcasts that were created from different sources, same problem. Some times I can listen for an hour before it happens, other times 20 minutes.
Additionally, this refurb will occasionally go into a loading screen? It will show the HTC logo, then I'll get a loading screen and wheel animation, I'm unable to do anything when this happens. It takes 20-30 seconds, then all is back to normal. I never had this happen on my original phone.
Has anyone else had either of these 2 problems?
I think I'll be stopping by Verizon yet again and asking for a new replacement this time.
