Please Help?

I've searched and tried so many different ways. I now have a note 2 with the vrall4 bootloader, and vraljb baseband and build. I can't take the ota to use the new exploit, can't use old exploit on new bootloader. I've tried flashing every "return to stock" I can find, and still can't take the ota or get CASUAL to work. I feel like I'm missing one simple step or file, but one that nobody has mentioned anywhere, because I've tried everything I've searched and read so far. Any help/ideas/advice is appreciated. Thank you.
