Obtaining Root

Obtaining Root access to your Droid is a great way to extend the benefits and usefulness of your phone. It is one of the easiest hacks, though, it is not without it’s risk. Go slowly and read through the entire guide before starting. It should take you no longer than 10 minutes. Happy rooting!

I apologize you are trying to sync with outlook. I do not know how the eris would do that; I know with the droid that there are apps on the market to sync, but I do not know of any of the free ones. I know of a paid one I seen on the web but I have never used it so I can not rate it.
