I just got my TB Yesterday night and I just DL Handcent
How to I turn off stock Notifications ?
I went into settings>sound>notifications ?? There is nothing to uncheck or anything Like my droidX had....

Go to the settings in the stock messaging app itself and turn them off

You should be able to open the stock messaging app and go to settings and disable notifications there. You will still receive notifications from your handcent app.

Under settings uncheck received notifications at the top.
