play with a non activated phone

I have an old Droid 1 and its not activated on an account. I can still use it with WIFI only. I also have a Droid X an want to do the same thing, but when I turn it on, it goes to activate screen and I dont know how to get around it. Is there a way around this and use it for he internet only?

Don't know if it's the same for the DX. But with the D1, touch the four corners in a clockwise motion starting with the top left. It may or may not be the same for the DX.

Keep going through and pressing on the corners and it should go past the activate screen. I did it on my x and a droid 2
