Phone just randomly erased sd card and wont read it...

Ive been using my X for over a month now with the sd card they provided. Today I launched angry birds and the phone rebooted randomly. When it came back on, everything on my memory card is gone and there is an icon up in the dock saying my memory card is empty. If I try to format it nothing happens and the icon wont go away. I know I lost everything, but why did this happen and how do I fix it and make my memory card work? I appreciate any help. thanks!

I'm really sorry to hear that. That's odd.

Does it give you the choice to Unmount SD card under settings/SD card & phone storage?

Cause sometimes you have to pull it out of the phone physically and put it back in.

I have physically removed it and put it back in (and rebooted the phone a few times too) The unmount option is there, but when I hit it, nothing happens (just like format)

Crap...I put a new card in and it works, so Im assuming that means the 16gb that came with it is corrupt? Would verizon give me a replacement one? (I dont have any extended warranty or anything)
