phone is a bit lagging while running apps

Hey guys my s3 is lagging when iam running games on it ..... first it was just nfs most wanted now even temple run is lagging ..... is there any way I can fix this ..... I have my phone running at the best state as I have reduced the background process limiting to the least of 4 apps .....and I have enabled 2d hardware acceleration on apps ..... but still the bloody lag continues ...... and I am running on the in built 16 gb memory ... haven't added an extra memory card ..... can this be an issue ..... but I also have 7gb free in my phone ......

Dude yeah fdr is factory reset rite ...... but is there any way I can save my data before I do it ???
