Phone doesnt ring - Droid Incredible

Until a week ago, fone worked fine. Now, doesn't ring or vibrate when a call is received. Sound is on, vibrate is on. Ran virus software:fine. Turned off fone and removed battery. Dialed *228 and reprogrammed fone. Still no joy. Speaker is fine, music plays fine, I still get audible notifications...it just won't ring! Any help would be appreciated! TIA

Check in call settings and see if you have a ring tone assigned to the phone. Also check the vibration settings in the same area and see if it is set to never vibrate.

Yes, phone is set to normal. Ringtone is set as well. Even if set to vibrate...nothing. I get a notification sound that I got a VM but still nothing when a call comes in

Ok, try clearing cache first in dialer, and phone. Menu, settings, applications, manage applications, all (tab at the top) then scroll to dialer, open it and select clear cache. Do the same for the phone. Test call yourself and see if it works. If not, do the same process but this time clear data. If that doesn't work you might be looking at a factory data reset.
