New to the forum and can not find a answer to this so maybe someone can help How do you delete contact history thanks for your help

Can't until Froyo. Either wait, and we don't know how long, or risk your phone and root (breaks warranty) and install the leak (can't link it anymore, motorola are being babies).

Once you have froyo, you can go into the contact history and delete single entries, or all of them for specific contacts.
