Phone can't send or receive anything

Anything related to texting or calling. When I call the phone, it goes to voicemail with no ring. When i call out, it gives busy signal for every number. Cannot send or receive texts. Last thing I was doing was backing up my phone's rom with Rom Manager, i have never installed a rom i was just backing up the one it came with. I took it to the cricket store and he tried everything he could consider but no luck. Since then I unrooted the phone, have used clockworkmod to reset factory settings and wipe as much data as I can, no luck... cant send or receive calls or texts.

Turn connection off?
3g shutdown somewhere, like Airplane mode or something?

yup, had to take it to two stores but they got it resolved. It had to do with a phone that was stolen from me previously.
