Pandora slow to open/play music

I timed it at 55 seconds from the point when I open to the point where I hear music.. Is this normal and is there anyway to speed it up or download a older faster version?

Run on a droid 1 @1.1ghz chevyno1/SS 5.4

Tested on wifi and its down to 12 seconds.. obviously connection limited is there anyway to cache some info in pandora?

I am also unthrottled and get 1-1.2gb/sec download through speed test.

Slacker does it in under 10sec but no shuffle settings.. Its annoying because I listen to pandora when docked in the car and waiting 1 min is silly.
