OTA while rooted?

hey all,

just was playing around with my phone and it asked me if I wanted to update OTA. I'm rooted right now and not sure what I have to do to get the update. can someone explain? thanks.

Download VooDoo Root Keeper from the Market, use the backup root option, then temp unroot option, take the OTA, then use the app to restore root. Make sure any changes to the system you made during root are back to normal or the update may fail.

well it said the download failed and then it said that my device was up to date. bizarre. I'll wait a little while longer before I try for the update again. Thanks for the help.

did it ever re-offer the update? my RAZR MAXX just did this to me as well.
