Opening contacts problem

I have a DroidX that is rooted. It was running really slow and freezing and stuff so I deleted some of the apps that I wasn't using. Apparently when I deleted if effected my contacts. Now when I go to my contact and press a persons name it tries to open but intermediately switches back to the home screen. All my contacts are there and I can use voice commands to make calls or text. I exported all of my info and apps to my SD card then done a factory reset but it did not fix the problem. If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it. I have not changed the OS 2.3.4

Deleting apps, especially stock apps, can affect other apps, but I guess you know that now. When you did the factory reset did the apps you had deleted come back?

I really dont remember which apps I deleted, plus I did a restore with Titanium which brought all my apps back.

I'm thinking you have 2 options, another factory reset may fix it as the first may have been incomplete, or go back to stock.
