A while back I bought a Diztronic case from OneStepAhead at XDA. This case quickly became my favorite case. The case can be found here:
Diztronic TPU Case- Notification List
The look and fit is perfect, and it provides some of the best protection that can be found right now. The only thing that I was missing was the textured sandstone back that I love so much on the Oneplus. I wanted this texture not only for the look and feel but for the grip. The case tends to slide out of my hands easily. I also own the Pelosi sandstone case, but I feel the Diztronic provides better coverage. While browsing the forums, I found the Stickerboy thread here:
Sticker Boy Skin Review
I decided to try to apply a stickerboy skin to the back of my Diztronic found here:
https://tpu-cases.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=104_105&products_id=396
I bought the matte black found here:
http://www.stickerboy.net/collectio...s/black-matte-antibacterial-oneplus-one-skins
*Note: I bought the Type 2 back panel only.
Other skin sources:

https://dbrand.com/shop/oneplus-one
Here are the results:
Pros:
- Fit is almost perfect. The rear camera/mic/headphone jack cutouts are just slightly off. Edit: Fixed with hairdryer
- Definitely improves grip. Edit: After using it for a day, I feel that I need something "grippier"
- Adheres well.
- Looks great, I love having the 1+ on the back.
- Feels like a little added protection.
Cons:
- There is a slight ridge around the edge of the sticker that you can feel with your fingers.
- The rear camera, mic port, and the headphone jack all have slight overlaps where the small portions of the back part of the sticker are exposed.(See pics). Edit: fixed with hairdryer.
- I get a bit of lint on the edge of the skin. Wipes off easily.
- Texture is not sandstone grit like the back of the OPO. It feels more like a textured vinyl.
- Need more grip.
Tip:
-Use a hair dryer to form the skin around the camera/mic openings. Credits rodger-sp at XDA
The jury is still out on how well this will work and stand up to every day use. I just applied the skin yesterday so we shall see. Overall I am very happy with how the project turned out. I am going to use a red paint pen to accent the 1+ logo on the back. In retrospect I would have considered a different colored skin to accomplish that. I may purchase another Diztronic/Stickerboy combo to get a little variety.

Summary:rodger-sp;55039298 said:After I installed the Skin I used a hair dryer to heat the skin so I could bend it around the camera opening.
For the mic. opining after heating the skin I used a very small pair of tweezers with a sharp point to increase the mic. opining. I inserted the tweezers slowly wile twisting them.
