Old d2 wants to be used, wifi device rom?

So I moved over to the Dx so I have my nice d2 doing nothing. It'd be nice if I could find a rom that is highly customizable. Once said rom is flashed what all can I remove that I don't need since it has no service?

Interesting. But we don't have or want a home phone. Plus the parents aren't that literate with smart phones yet. But I will probably use it to make calls once and a while. Thanks.

More looking to use it as like an iPod or just something I can show off to friends. I was thinking about that galant ics or whatever its called. Anyone have any suggestions?

Well, any version of MIUI, including Galnet, will allow you to toggle 3g data off and use wifi only so that should work fine.

And are these highly customizable? Like cm based roms I have for my x?
