Official 2.1

So my girl has the Official 2.1 on her phone.
Has anyone rooted that yet?? everything i see says no root for the LEAKED 2.1. but thats not what she has...

Either way. the ERIS SUCKS!!
anyone want to buy it?

2.1 has been rooted for a while, do you mean 2.2?

the eris does not suck. it is a great phone... and no you cant root if u have the leaked version of 2.1 but you can if u did the OTA 2.1 update, as long as your HBOOT is not version 1.49.

I think i'm reading this properly and I'm wondering about something.... I received and Over the Air update about a month ago (give or take) and haven't received any other updates... and when i look at my Firmware Version, it says 2.1. So, i'm reading this correctly, right?

I've had 2.1 for quite a few weeks now?

Since this thread was started, root has been possible for leaked and non-leaked versions of the 2.1 rom.
