While Google is currently rolling out the 7.1.1 Developer Preview 2 beat builds to Nexus users they are officially rolling out a new Pixel update in Canada. The update brings Canadian Pixels to build number NPF26J. Earlier today this was thought to be an accidental roll out of a preview build, but it is starting to look like this is indeed an official build. There are two key new features in this build. You can now double tap to check notifications, and you can also lift your phone to check notifications. This is similar to the ambient display that we have seen on some Moto devices in the past. The update may also include a fix for Band 4 LTE issues.
