No one can hear me since 2.2 update

Since I installed the 2.2 update I can hear people who call me (or I call) but they cannot hear me. When I switch to bluetooth it works fine, but using the internal microphone doesn't seem to work anymore.

Microphone isn't working

It's not just phone calls, i can't get voice to text to work, either. Seems like somehow something in the upgrade turned off my microphone. everything else works great. Is this possible or just an amazing coincidence? I'm on my second Droid and really don't want to have to set up another one.

Factory reset fixed it

I did a factory reset and it still wasn't working. So drove over to the VZW store, the tech there did another factory reset and it started working. He thinks it was the 2.2 update, but at least it seems to be working again.
