No 'Camcorder' icon

Hi,

I need to add the camcorder shortcut to home screen but I can't find the icon in shortcuts menu (Long press on home screen space > Shortcuts).

I remember that it was on my home screen by default. Once I had removed, it could not be added again.

Please suggest how to fix this. I'm using DROID RAZR.

Thanks.

I just looked and i dont have that icon, i dont think i ever did

Agreed. I believe they (Motorola) did away with it seeing that it was redundant, since the camera and camcorder are essentially the same device and you can switch between both functions as xtor mentioned, with the switch in the lower right corner of the camera display.

Yeah. I know that but it annoys me when I need quick record.

I did Factory data reset to recover the Camcorder icon. It helped but I must not delete it.

I just wonder why it cannot be added again after once delete it.

Can it be the software problem issue?

Anyway, thanks you guys again.

That's interesting as I never deleted anything, am not rooted, and have no camcorder shortcut option. Never did.

Wow. It is odd that one person has a camcorder icon and the rest of us do not. I noticed that right away when i first got my phone that moto did away with it. In fact i just happened to do a factory reset last night and havent touched my phone since til this morning and there is no camcorder icon.
