Newbie: I can't set up my ringtone; help!

Hi!

I haven't had my Motorola Droid for but a few hours, so sorry for such a newbie/sophomoric question. I downloaded a ringtone from Verizon Media Store online (from my computer) and it sent me the message with the file attached. I'm aware there are directions given on the website as to how to set it as your ringtone; however, when I hit my options button (the "bars" button below the screen on my phone) it doesn't give me the option to save the file and or make it my ringtone. I'd appreciate some help as to how to properly set this file up as my ringtone.

You can also download an app called Mabilo Ringtones and use their giant database of ringtones and notifications. They also let you set ringtones\notifications to specific contacts.

Try out Ringdroid, you can edit your own mp3's to make ringtones.

Okay. How did u do it? I did the same thing - went 2 verizon's site, bought an mp3, but can't set it as a ringtone . . . . . help plz dont keep the secret 2 yourself

If you post a thread with a question and then figure the answer out yourself, please post the solution for others who might have the same issue you had originally, it will save a lot of time and confusion

Go to the Market and get Rindgorid. It's easy to use and works with all mp3 files. It's pretty self explanatory, you'd almost have to have no computer literacy not to figure it out. But if you can't figure it out don't feel bad, come back and I will help you.
