I just got my new s4 and I have a handfull of questions. Any advice on the audio and how to tweak it to make it better...and how do u make surround work? I keep having a problem with the ear speaker volume being too low. I can turn it up while talking but the next time it will be low again. I noticed today the picture quality in certain apps wasnt very good. I compared the same pictures on my iphone and they were clear. How do I get the facebook app to remember me and it always ask me about syncing contacts when I log on....even tho I have it set in facebook settings. Thanks

And how do I get the screen to turn off automatically. I thought I had it set for 30 sec but it will sit there for 30 minutes and its still on. I keep having to hit the side button

For surround sound, select that in Setting | My device | Accessory | Audio output. It's in the HDMI section at the bottom.

I turn the sound up when talking to someone but the next time I use it it will be low again. But according to the sound settings everything is turned up. And that did cross my mind with the pictures. ...if they are being stretched a little because of the bigger screen. Can I change that? Smart stay is on. But even when I am not looking at it, it wont turn itself off. Thanks

Sorry...what I am considering surround is not what you are thinking of. On the iPhone...each speaker was independent. I might be hearing vocals in my right ear and music in my left. I don't know what to call it. But that is what I was referring to

Ah... You want virtual surround sound. Try this: open the Music app and, in settings, choose SoundAlive. One of the selections is Virtual 7.1 ch. Please report back on whether that is or insn't what you are seeking.

Try turning off Smart Stay.

I found the virtual setting but that wasnt it. Turning off smart stay worked. Am I overlooking something with the call volume?
