I think the main reason they did this was because of the scrolling highlights, which the devs don't seem to be able to change. I actually really like it, cause it's a much deeper Orange than stock.
The orange looks really good with GB overall, my only complaint is the loading circle. It looks tacky in some places like in the Facebook app. If it were still grey I think it would look better.

no that is just a simple xml color code swap and i have tryed the theme manager but it is not changing out all of the orange i think i am just to port the old theme the old way but idk i really liked the blue
Love the orange. Glad they are finally getting away from the cheap iOS knockoff look. Unfortunately, had nothing but one FC after another with the Launcher, so it looks like I'm gonna have to hold off on coming back to MIUI for now.

That's nice. No, my phone doesn't just "suck". MIUI has been very buggy lately. And now you add Gingerbread to the equation, which is very buggy on the Droid, and you are gonna have some problems.
