I installed liquid gingerbread v2.6 on my droid x. There is no longer a visual voicemail icon on my phone. When i try to download it from the market it tells me my phone came with the app and to use that one. What can i do??????????????

No, it isnt on the phone anymore. I guess it was not included on this rom and the market wont let me download it...keeps sayin your phone has a built in vvm app

I know Visual Voicemail is a Blur app and I believe LGB is an AOSP ROM so that's why you don't have it, but I'm not sure why the market won't let you download a new one

Yes im sure its a blur app...pardon my ignorance but what is aosp

not ignorance, you just haven't learned about it yet haha. AOSP is the Android Open Source Project, the reason you have a different camera app among others on Liquid Gingerbread than you did on Stock GB is because Liquid uses the AOSP apps and Stock GB for the Droid X uses MotoBlur apps

Ok so i sbf back to 2.3.3. I just want a rom that still uses mostly blur, maybe mostly stock just free up the phone a little to do what i want with it...any sugestions

I'm not a Blur fan so I've only tried AOSP ROMs, but I think Sensei Mod is a good Blur based ROM. You'll need to be on the .602 kernel.

Ok thanks...ive got bigger problems now ive lost my root...i rooted on 2.2.1 and never lost it...how do i root on 2.3.3
