New member; problem with the calendar

Howdy All,

I'm new to this forum. I've had my Droid Incredible for a few months. I'm having a problem with the calendar. I was using the HTC Sync until a few days ago when I received the message that the calendar could not be sync'd. At that time I only had my calendar in Outlook 2007.

After several times trying to sync it, I deleted HTC Sync, installed Google Calendar on my desktop, which runs XP Pro SP3, and configured two-way updating between Outlook and Google calendar.

I now have the calender on my Incredible but there are two entries for each appointment. There is only 1 entry for each appointment in the Outlook calendar and in the Google desktop calendar.

I've tried resetting whatever I can on the Incredible but to no avail.

Can anyone suggest how I can fix this, other than a hard reset? I've installed a multitude of apps and don't want to have to reinstall all of them.
