I was getting used to Droid X2 when I lost it, now I have a Droid X3 with some of the old data, however I can't make the phone to be connected to any compute through the USB port. it is simply not recognized. Would it be a problem in the port?

Hello and welcome to the forum!

It could be that you need to download the updated drivers for the D3...Also, if you pull down the notification menu while connected via USB do you see "usb options" (cannot remember the actual name) but it should allow you to switch between charge only and MASS USB...you might toggle thru these options to see if it picks up your phone. Other suggestions - try different ports on the computer / laptop if available and also use the actual D3 USB cord...

Good luck!
