I just got a droid phone and could not figure out a few things:

Does anyone know how to set up a speed dial from the home screen?

Can the phone vibrate first then ring?

How do I turn off the green notification light? It keeps flashing after I've check my email.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just got a droid phone and could not figure out a few things:

Does anyone know how to set up a speed dial from the home screen? On the home screen: long-press on an empty spot, click shortcuts, select direct dial, select the contact you'd like to have a shortcut for on the home screen.

Can the phone vibrate first then ring? By default, no. There may be sound profile/ringtone apps in the market that can accomplish this.

How do I turn off the green notification light? It keeps flashing after I've check my email. An app in the market called "Missed Call" allows you to customize LED notification, but I'm not sure if you can totally disable it. In the gmail app, you can deactivate status-bar notification. I'm not sure if that turns the LED off, but you definitely won't see e-mails in the notification bar.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
