Earlier in the month we shared a rumor that the Nexus 5 might launch alongside a new LTE-equipped Nexus 4. There is some new intel out today which supports this theory. A new Bluetooth certification was just passed for a device called the LG E960. That's the same model number as the Nexus 4. The only difference is that this one includes LTE onboard now.

It's actually not too surprising that Google is doing this because the Nexus 4 actually already had the LTE tech hiding disabled inside. In fact, you could easily argue that it was more surprising that Google didn't have it already enabled to begin with.

I feel like if both are released at the same time or close together, the Nexus 4 will need to be priced at $100. Why would anyone buy an N4 if they can get an N5 for 50 or so bucks more.

Indeed. And with those on screen buttons you get about 4 inches of display. Pass!
