Need help updating droid from bugless beast v1.0, firmware version 2.1

I've been deployed and out of the loop for some time now. I'm getting ready to unsuspend the service on my Droid but I want to make sure its up to date. Can someone please walk me through the process. My current firmware version is 2.1 and im running bugless beast V1.0. I would greatly appreciate any assistance. Thank You!!!

Well, i just realized i need to update to 2.2 in order to get BB V0.6.2.1. Would you be able to assist me with this please?

Well on my Droid, I was able to just flash a GB (2.3) based ROM over my froyo (2.2) based rom by just wiping data/cache and flashing in clockwork recovery.
