Need a bit of help with my old rooted D2.

My buddy is wanting to buy my phone, and he still wants it to stay rooted. All i want to do is just keep it rooted, but just delete all my sd card contents. How may I go about this? Am I being a complete noob? lol I think i've been drinking too much.
