My 1st Droid Bill!!!!! ACK!!

I been a customer with VZW for a while now, and have a corporate discount of 20%. Even with a Blackberry plan, my bill has never been over $100.

My very first Droid Bill is $420 some dollars and thats with my discount!!! What in the world Verizon? What's your freaking deal?!?!

I can't even view the details of the bill right now. Tmo and N900 here I come. Verizon can stuff it, not gonna play their silly games.

I'll put a screenshot of my bill when I get home.

Yeah, I can't think of any legitimate reason, besides a 10-person family plan, as to why ANYONE'S bill could ever be that high. Has to be a mistake.

details are available on vzw's website, so not sure why you can't view the bill. have u put a gf's phone on your plan as well? perhaps tiger woods, as well?

I have issues also on my bill. I was being charged with calls placed mobile 2 mobile ( Verizon phones being called ) home numbers being charged ( in the number plan ) Not all the time but random, some charged sometimes not. I called Verizon and was credited back for this, my acct. was tagged to make a note of the problems. They gave me 250 min. bonus for the next 6 months. I have 450 min. because most I call are on Verizon, and on My Circle. I looked at my bill and had already used almost half of my min. don't know if it's billable min. or total used. So I'd check it out and give them a call.

First you need to take a deep breath. It WILL be ok. Mistakes happen. Heck I just got a late payment notice on my car payment that wasn't due for another 2 weeks, lol. When you deal with computers, there are bound to be mistakes here and there. Just call them up, and have them explain to you what the charges are for. Tell them you cannot view the bill and would like to know why your being charged so much. Just remember to breath deeply.

Well, I think we need the whole story here. Sounds like you billed the Droid to your account. Maybe buyers remorse? I have never had VZW not rectify a billing issue in the past. Maybe you would be happier at TMO as billing mistakes NEVER happen there.

The only time I ever had an issue and a bill like that was back in 2002 when I got my first SmartPhone. I bought the small data plan as the VZW rep told me overage was .01 per MB. As it turned out it was .01 per Kb and my bill was (not surprisingly) HUGE the next month. A call to VZW rectified the situation as they back billed me to the correct data plan.

I (like others have said) don't understand why you can't view your bill. If they are billing you, then there is no reason you shouldn't be able to see the charges. Something is amiss.

lol.... verizon made a mistake on his bill so he wants to go buy a 700 dollar phone and us it on the worst network in america?

im not understanding this logic.

the only thing i can think of that would make it jump like that is if he used something like PDANet to get free tethering and got caught.

Oh! Excellent point! :lifting: (This seemed appropriate).

I never thought about that. Maybe that's another reason as to why the op is so quick to jump ship. I don't, personally, know how ANYONE would want to leave this pone behind for something on TMo.
