Welcome aboard...

You can try clearing cache / data on the apps where you are getting the "stops" - this is found in the system settings - apps manager - all - phone or play store...if you do clear data, it will clear any settings you have saved in those apps so you will need to reset them up (such as do not autoupdate apps, etc)...
