Moved my apps 2 sd card...now I have no icons on my shortcuts

I moved my apps to my sd card, now my icons for the shortcuts on my home screens are defaulting to the android icon. Why is that or how can I fix that. Please, so annoying.

Either restart your home launcher or keep the apps that you have the icons for on your homescreen off of your SD card and in the system, same with apps that have widgets associated with them that you use

Using ADW Laucher....stupid question but, How do I restart it?

Should be an option in the setings menu to restart. This is the issue. I use LauncherPro and the same thing happens with SD apps...
