Motorola Exec Punit Soni Confirms Moto X will Get Android L

This will probably not come as any surprise to you, but the Moto X will definitely be getting the Android L update. Motorola VP of Product Management Punit Soni confirmed as much recently. We have Soni's response based upon a question posed by a Google+ user who asked, if we are “still going to get Android L (5.0),” to which Soni replied, "Yup."

With this confirmation, it's not too much of a stretch to speculate that Motorola will continue their newest trend of being the first non-Nexus device to get the latest versions of Android. It makes you wonder why this wasn't the case for Motorola before they were ever bought out by Google or Lenovo...
