Further evidence points to the Moto X+1 being the first Motorola device with a 1080p display. This evidence comes indirectly from Motorola themselves. While discussing the new Android 4.4.3 for their devices, Motorola VP of Product Management Punit Soni posted a screenshot of a smartphone with a 1080×1920 resolution display. While it is possible that he was using a non-Moto device, it seems unlikely.
The only other question that remains is: "If this is a new Moto device, was this a slip up or an intentional leak to pique our interest?"
