Moto Droid to Genesis - B/T issue

I have paired the Droid to a Genesis, but it is dropping the connection every few minutes and re-connecting. I am on 2.1 update 1. The Genesis worked perfectly with a Blackberry Curve before I switched to the Droid.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any suggestions on how to keep the Droid connected?
