Milestone Picture turns "blurry" after a second

Hi everyone

I'm experiencing what seems to be a software problem on my Milestone and already found another person that experiences the same problems.
Firmware: 2.1-Update1 (updated 2.1 release not yet available to UK)

When I'm preparing to take a picture I can see that the device focus is correct. I then take the picture and first image I get is a decent/good result. But then suddenly one second later the picture loses sharpness (blurry) and colors also get messed up.

The picture qulity is now even worse than my old 2MP Nokia device.

I already posted this problem on the Motorola support forums but I've only found 1 guy with the same results.

Other people that experience the same problems?
Is this perhaps a defective device?

Kind regards

I have that too, you have a crisp, sharp photo and BAM! its gone :D I think that's the way the camera app works. I had a Nokia S90 phone which did the exact same thing (my friend had that phone too, and guess what? the same thing happens). Think of it as the software adjusts (or edits) the photo after it's taken.

its the noise cancellation kicking in, It's so annoying cuz the same picture goes from being super crisp with nice color to "baby's first digital camera" the quality gets thrown out the window

Hmm... I don't know but maybe other camera apps may don't have that. Or at least might have an option to turn off noise cancellation.
