2 questions here that i havnt found an answer to.

if my droid is lost or stolen and i get a new one, will the pay apps i have downloaded be available to me through my gmail without paying for them again?

and

i keep seeing app for anti virus for android. is this a problem? has anyone gotten a virus? if so is it just from non market apps?

Yes, your paid apps are stored within your google account so when you sign in, you will get all your paid apps back.

No, anti virus is not needed for the droid.
