Making the camera not be absolutely terrible...

Does anyone have any helpful tips on doing that? Really hate this 10 second loading time. Not sure why Moto dropped the ball so badly on the software for this phone but it sure would be awesome if someone found/created a fix.

you have to be rooted and have the bootstrap installed to do this though

A number of camera apps in the market are notable faster. Try Camera FX, Pro Zoom 5X, Vignette, etc.

How do I make this camera work on the Droid 3? I downloaded the ZIP. Do I just flash with CWM?

Just rename the old file to .bak and copy the new apk in the /system/app directory
